Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Federated Sports + Gaming, Jeffery Pollack is a recognized innovator in the sports industry with a long track record of helping build successful companies and thriving brands.

Most recently, Jeffrey was the President and Commissioner of the World Series of Poker (WSOP), fundamentally reinventing the business and transforming the brand into a mainstream global sports and entertainment phenomenon.  During his tenure, the WSOP reached a milestone $1 billion in total prize money awarded, launched the fan-oriented and ground-breaking “November Nine” television format, and secured a 12-year broadcast partnership with ESPN. Jeffrey also instituted a first-ever code of conduct and players advisory council, and led the creation of WSOP Europe.

Prior to joining the WSOP, Jeffrey was Managing Director of Broadcasting and New Media for NASCAR Digital Entertainment and directed all of NASCAR’s business development related to the Internet, interactive television and other digital platforms. He also served as Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications for the National Basketball Association, managing the league’s global branding, marketing and promotional strategies.  In 1994, Jeffrey founded The Sports Business Daily – the leading trade publication for the sports industry.

While at NASCAR, Jeffrey won two Emmy® Awards for interactive programming and innovative technical achievements. He is a pundit in conversational marketing and social media, and a trendsetter in embracing digital media channels to create interactive brand experiences that increase fan accessibility and loyalty.

Jeffrey is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. He has a master’s degree in sports management from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, a master’s degree from The Graduate School of Political Management, and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Jeffrey is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He serves on the Board of Advisors of the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission, as well as the Advisory Board of the USC Sports Business Institute. From 2010 – 2011 he served as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Professional Bull Riders.
